Happy 2nd Birthday SNSP!!!

We cannot believe that it has already been two years since Special Needs Special People was started! In these past two years, we have met some very special people including you. Without you, the truth is our campaign for a more inclusive and aware world would not be possible. Today, let’s take a moment to remember what we have done and will continue to do together. Together, we started three social media platforms on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. With your support, we were able to start our blog. Together, we are leading two initiatives to educate our children about special needs. We promise that we will always continue advocating for a more accessible and inclusive world for all, and we thank you for your endless support. Today, we have asked several of our followers to share their thoughts on our platform:

- ”I think SNSP is a valuable resource that not only helps to educate people on how much individuals with special needs contribute to society, it also serves as a platform that celebrates the uniqueness of every person.” - Kripa Sriram

- “I believe that SNSP is an incredibly important platform that has inspired me to help others become more inclusive. I am so grateful for the thoughtful and important messages that SNSP puts out!” - Arushi Bhatia

- ”I think it is very informative, useful and highlights some very important issues and news in the world of SEN that I wouldn't see otherwise” - Rachel Downton

- “Special Needs Special People is an amazing platform that has greatly increased my knowledge and awareness on many issues related to those with special needs. Its beautiful mission to educate people and better the lives of those with special needs really shines through and I can't wait to read what gets posted next!” - Autumn Griffin

- ”As someone who works hard to be as inclusive as possible, I aspire to be one ounce of what SNSP encapsulates and encourages. SNSP has been a steward of change in all communities for quite some time now, and has really fostered some amazing changes. From SNSP I have learned about various medical conditions, heroes with special needs, and the proper techniques to become a trustworthy ally. I thank SNSP for all that it does and all that it continues to do.” - Lilli Hlavin

- “Special Needs Special People is an incredible and inspiring platform that shares the stories of successful and determined individuals who have unique challenges. I encourage everyone to follow SNSP and learn about each story as it will brighten your day.” - Paige Risley

- “SNSP is a wonderful platform to educate the community about various topics concerning individuals with special needs. I have been able to learn a lot through the various articles and posts that SNSP publishes, and I feel like SNSP has definitely played a vital role in bringing awareness to both the challenges that individuals with special needs face and all the wonderful things they have accomplished.” - Janine Albert

- “I’ve been fortunate to partner with SNSP and my sorority to send birthday cards to a boy with special needs, using our collective resources to encourage him and remind him that he is truly special. We also joined together to add signatures to the change.org petition appealing to Disney for the creation of a special needs princess. Beyond the realm of service, the heart behind SNSP to foster community awareness and familiarization has encouraged me to advocate for individuals with special needs. Overall, SNSP has helped me recognize the value and beauty of special needs and how to foster inclusion and love!” - Allyson Cole

- “As a school principal, I strive to learn more about persons who, like many students in my school, have special needs and have overcome challenging odds to pursue their passion. SNSP has been a wonderful source of inspirational stories about individuals who are making significant contributions to our society. I look forward to the posts and have learned so much as a result.” - Dr. Diann Kearney

We thank all our amazing followers for their thoughts and thank YOU for being part of our SNSP family. This year, with your help, we look forward to welcoming more people to our growing family, spreading awareness in our schools, and spreading inclusion in our community. Thank you all so much for your endless love, support and encouragement. You all make our mission possible and we love you all so much!
